The Changelogfy importer reads your public changelog RSS feed. No API key needed, but it also means Onset only sees what’s publicly visible.
This importer is in beta. Review the imported releases before pointing customers at your new page.

What you’ll need

Your Changelogfy URL — either the Changelogfy subdomain, e.g. yourcompany.changelogfy.com, or the custom domain you point at it. Before starting, confirm the feed is reachable by opening https://yourcompany.changelogfy.com/changelog/rss in a browser. If that returns posts, the import will work.

Run the import

Open Imports

Go to Settings → Workspace → Import.

Start the Changelogfy import

Find Changelogfy Import in the list and click Start import.

Enter your URL

Type the host only, e.g. yourcompany.changelogfy.com. The https:// and the feed path are added for you.

Wait for the email

The import runs in the background. Onset emails you when it’s finished, so you don’t need to keep the tab open.

What comes across

Not imported: drafts and anything not in the public feed, categories, projects, reactions, feedback, knowledge base articles, and your Changelogfy audience. Import subscribers separately from a CSV.
Changelogfy post categories — Improvement, Fix, New Feature — don’t come across. Set up labels in Onset and apply them to the imported releases afterwards.

Post URLs

Changelogfy post URLs include a language segment, like /en/your-post-title. Onset takes only the last part of the URL for the slug, so the language prefix is dropped and your Onset paths come out clean.

Re-running the import

Safe. Releases are matched on their slug, and anything already in your workspace is skipped rather than duplicated.
