Page language

Sets the default language for your public page. The default is English. This controls Onset’s own interface strings (buttons, labels, dates), not the content you write.

SEO crawling

Controls whether search engines index your page.
  • Enabled lets your releases appear in search results. Usually what you want: release notes rank well for “does product support X” queries.
  • Disabled adds noindex, nofollow to every page. Use this for internal or pre-launch pages.
If your page is password protected or email restricted, search engines can’t index the content regardless of this setting.

Default views

Under Settings → Page → Releases and Settings → Page → Roadmap you can set the default view for each section, and for the roadmap, the default sort order for milestones. Visitors can change the view themselves; this just controls what they land on.

Section visibility

Both the releases and roadmap sections can be turned off entirely. If you only want a changelog, disable the roadmap and your page becomes a single-purpose release feed.
