Contributors attach names and avatars to a release, so the people who did the work get visible credit on the update your customers actually read.
Add contributors
Open a release and select contributors in the details panel. You can pick any member of your workspace. The picker is limited to your members, so everyone credited is someone on your team.
A release can have as many contributors as you like. Their avatars appear together on the release.
Credit everyone who touched the release, not just whoever wrote the notes. Design, support, and QA rarely show up in a changelog otherwise, and this is the one place customers see them.
Show them publicly
Contributors are only displayed if the page setting is on. Go to Settings → Page → Releases and enable Release contributors: “When enabled release contributor names and avatars are displayed.”
Turn it off if you’d rather present releases as coming from the company rather than from individuals.
Via the API
Contributors can also be set programmatically when creating or updating a release, using workspace member IDs. See the Releases API.
