Subscribers are the email addresses that receive your release notifications. They arrive from several places:

Let visitors subscribe

Go to Settings → Page → Subscribers and enable Subscribers: “Let your visitors subscribe to receive updates via email.” Two related settings:
  • Default subscriber list sets which list new public subscribers are added to.
  • Anonymous subscribers allows subscribing without creating an account.

Managing subscribers

Find them under Audience → Subscribers. You can search, add subscribers manually, move them between lists, and remove them.

What subscribers receive

Subscribers can be notified when a release is published and when a milestone is added. Notifications are opt-in per release. You choose in the publish dialog whether to send email and to which lists.

Subscriber limits

The Free plan includes up to 1,000 subscribers. Team, Business, and Enterprise are unlimited. If you go over the limit, usually after a downgrade, you keep every subscriber you already have, but you can’t add new ones until you upgrade or remove some.

Unsubscribes

Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribed addresses stop receiving mail immediately and are retained so they aren’t accidentally re-added by a later import.
