Private releases
A private release is published inside your workspace but hidden from your public page, feeds, and widget. Use it for internal changelogs or for updates that aren’t announced yet. Toggle visibility in the release editor’s settings panel.Private share links
You can share a release with specific people without making it public. Onset generates a secret link that renders the release for anyone who has it.1
Open the release
Go to the release in your dashboard.
2
Create a share link
Open the share option and generate a link.
3
Send it
Anyone with the link can view the release. Revoke it at any time to cut off access.
Pinning
Pin a release to keep it at the top of your public page regardless of date. Good for a major launch, a migration notice, or a status update you want everyone to see first. Unpin it when it stops being the most important thing. A permanently pinned release stops being read.Locking down the whole page
To restrict who can see your page at all, use password protection (Team plan and above) or email whitelisting (Business plan and above). If you downgrade below the required plan, the page privacy setting switches to private rather than reverting to public. See Billing.
